About Us

Who We Are

We believe that Canadians should not have to choose between good jobs and protecting the environment.

We bring together workers and environmental organizations to prioritize preserving jobs, reducing carbon emissions, and building a sustainable future. Since 2010, we have forged partnerships with major labour unions and influential environmental groups including the United Steelworkers, Environmental Defence, Unifor, Clean Energy Canada, the Broadbent Institute, the Columbia Institute, and the Pembina Institute.

Together, we advocate for meaningful worker participation in government decision-making, aiming for worker- and community-centered strategies that reduce emissions, create sustainable jobs, and address climate challenges.

What We Do

We are dedicated to addressing the global climate crisis.

We collaborate closely with our members and allies to protect the environment and champion an inclusive economy. We prioritize preserving jobs, reducing carbon emissions, and building a sustainable future. Together, we advocate for governments to fulfill their commitments beyond mere consultation, recognizing that workers and communities bear the brunt of industrial change and must have a meaningful say in decision-making processes.
